A fundamental aspect in the design of the space was the interaction of the interior with the exterior, which was achieved through the use of large windows that allow views to escape towards the tropical gardens and the pool, which was built around an old colonial structure of masonry and which was incorporated into the design with the dual function of housing the machine room inside and serving as a sculptural element, which can be seen from the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom. The color palette used includes blue, yellow and red, which are common in the architecture of Yucatecan haciendas. Casa Sol aims, with the simplicity and sobriety of its architecture, to create different atmospheres of coexistence and relaxation in its spaces, through the use of natural and pure materials that transport users to a state of comfort.
